The Big Book of 3D Printing is not just a book. It is a tool for education, industry, and the future.
About the author
Krasimir Georgiev is a mechanical engineer, entrepreneur, and additive technologies expert with over 10 years of practical experience in 3D design, prototyping, and manufacturing. He is the founder of the Edufacturing educational initiative, which aims to develop technological education, STEM, and the professions of the future in Bulgaria.
In his professional career, he has worked with hobby and educational systems as well as industrial solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The accumulated experience in real projects, mistakes, and successful applications forms the basis of the book’s content.
The Big Book of 3D Printing was created over 1,500 hours of independent work, without a publisher, without funding, and without a team, with the clear goal of bringing together in one place knowledge that had previously been scattered, difficult to access, and mostly in foreign languages.
The author believes that access to understandable and practical technological knowledge is key to the development of industry, education, and the next generation of creators in Bulgaria.
